Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using any PrakKnit service — including the ThreatLens Enterprise platform and the website at prakknit.com — you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent ("Customer"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

PrakKnit provides ThreatLens Enterprise: a unified cyber risk management platform that ingests security findings from multiple sources, contextualises them against business assets and organisational structure, and surfaces prioritised risk intelligence for Security, Development, IT, and Leadership teams.

The service is delivered as hosted SaaS, in a private cloud tenancy, on-premises, or air-gapped, per the deployment option agreed at the time of purchase.

3. Accounts and Tenants

• Customer is responsible for all activity under its tenant(s), including users provisioned and access granted
• Credentials must be kept confidential; notify us promptly at security@prakknit.com of any suspected unauthorised access
• Multi-tenant group structures (parent/child, portfolio) are provisioned only at Customer's request and are subject to the data-isolation guarantees described in our Privacy Policy

4. Subscription Plans and Fees

Access to the service is governed by the plan tier and order form agreed with PrakKnit. Fees are invoiced per the agreed billing cycle. Unless otherwise stated in an order form or required by law, fees are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not affect existing fixed-term orders before renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

Customer agrees not to:

• Use the service to scan or test systems Customer does not own or have written authorisation to test
• Attempt to circumvent licence, tenant-isolation, rate-limiting, or access controls
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service, except as expressly permitted by law
• Use the service to build a competing product or service
• Upload, store, or process unlawful content
• Share access credentials or permit use by unauthorised third parties

6. Customer Data

Customer retains all rights to the security findings, asset data, and other data submitted to the service ("Customer Data"). PrakKnit processes Customer Data only to provide and support the contracted service. Customer Data is never used to train models, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose beyond delivery of the platform.

On termination, Customer Data is retained for a reasonable transition period and then deleted or returned as agreed in the applicable order form. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Intellectual Property

PrakKnit and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the service, including the platform software, risk intelligence models, and all improvements. These Terms grant Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the subscription term. No ownership rights are transferred.

Customer retains ownership of all Customer Data and any reports or outputs generated from that data.

8. On-Premises and Air-Gapped Deployments

Where the service is delivered as a binary or container image for on-premises or air-gapped deployment, Customer's licence is conditioned on a valid, unexpired licence key and is limited to the user, application, and finding limits in the applicable order form. Customer may not redistribute, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the delivered software.

9. Service Levels and Support

Hosted SaaS deployments are covered by the service level agreement (SLA) specified in the applicable order form, where purchased. Support scope and response times vary by plan tier and are detailed in the order form or a separate support policy document.

10. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other's confidential information — including pricing, product roadmap, security findings data, and any non-public business information — confidential, and to use it only for the purpose of performing under these Terms. This obligation survives termination.

11. Warranties and Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" except for warranties expressly stated in an executed order form or master agreement. PrakKnit does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will identify every vulnerability or threat. ThreatLens Enterprise is a risk-management aid — it does not constitute a guarantee against compromise.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Each party's total aggregate liability is limited as set out in the applicable order form or master agreement, and in no event exceeds the fees paid by Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate for the other's uncured material breach following written notice and a reasonable cure period, or as otherwise specified in the order form. On termination, Customer's access ends and the data return/deletion terms in Section 6 apply.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction agreed in the applicable order form. In the absence of such agreement, the laws of India apply. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal proceedings.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance, subject to any conflicting terms in a signed master agreement.
